Pioneered in Germany for IPF. DCs engineered to promote anti-inflammatory and Treg responses. Can halt progression and potentially improve lung function. CD103+ DC-fibroblast crosstalk via TLR9/AHR identified as key fibrogenic pathway (2025). Blocking this reverses scarring signals.
